Signature Segway Tours-L

So on Halloween we actually went on a Segway tour, we had bought from Groupon. The place was located right across the street from grant park and very easy to find. The night was a little cold and the segway left my calves hurting for a couple of day, but overall it was very fun. The views of the city at night were very pretty and the guides were very nice, helpful and knowledgeable about all of the stops. You can really get far in a short amount of time on those things! We started off by going to Buckingham Fountain then made our way to the Shedd, where we took a short break. From there we went to see the city view from the Planetarium and then a nice stroll around soldier field and then done. The only thing I would say that could have been better was maybe have a few more stops, by the end I felt like I hadn't seen a whole lot of stuff. There was also a lot of people in the group, and since they taught everyone individually how to ride, it seemed to take a long time to get up and moving. Overall it was a very unique and fun experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for that kind of tour and I believe their claim for lowest price is pretty valid. They also have bike rentals for $10! for anyone whose needs to get around the city on a nice day.

  1. I had high hopes for this one. Training was fairly easy (I’m a vetran) , they took the time with everyone to make sure they were comfortable. We set out on our journey to the Museum Campus, Buckingham fountain (which was off), and out all the way to the Adler Planetarium. Some stellar views of the city, and our hosts had some great personality. Building seemed a little “thrown together”, and I think everyone says they have the “cheapest segway tour in town” but I would do it again, and give them high marks. I would send them business in the future. Fun date, even though by nature the segway keeps you spacially apart, but its a nice thing to experience together. Cool technology, but left my legs REALLY sore...they should carry a small warning card and sell things like advil/gloves/hand warmers.
